Our Journey
The journey of Kisan Disha Producer Company Limited began in 2015 under the MACP project with a vision to unite farmers and strengthen rural agriculture through collective efforts and sustainable farming practices. Since its establishment, the company has continuously worked to improve agricultural productivity, farmer welfare, and market accessibility while building a strong foundation for rural development.
In its early years, the company strengthened agricultural infrastructure by establishing a 250 metric tons warehouse with cleaning and grading facilities under the Food Security Mission to improve storage and post-harvest management. From 2017-18 onwards, the company began operating as a National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd (NAFED) sub-agent through MahaFPC Pune, procuring crops such as Green Gram (Moong), Black Gram (Urad), Pigeon Pea (Tur), and Soyabean under Minimum Support Price (MSP) schemes and successfully handling around 12,000 metric tons of agricultural produce, ensuring fair prices for farmers.
In 2022, the company expanded its capabilities by establishing a seed processing unit and 500 metric tons warehouse under the Sub Mission on Seeds and Planting Material (SMSP) scheme, producing quality Soyabean, Pigeon Pea (Tur), and Bengal Gram (Chana) seeds across 150-200 hectares. Continuing its growth, in 2024, under the SMART project, the company initiated dal mill and warehouse expansion projects, including plans for a 2,000 metric tons warehouse to strengthen storage and value addition. Today, Kisan Disha stands as a symbol of farmer empowerment, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development.
